About

Emma Cook is one of the leading woodturners in the UK. Her 25 years of experience in the craft make her a formidable demonstrator and creator.

She has travelled throughout Europe, the US and Australia over the past few years in order to provide clubs, seminars and symposiums with an insight into her style of woodturning as well as introduce them to traditional wood carving.

Emma began turning at the age of 16 after being inspired by her uncle and younger brother. Always a maker from a very young age, it wasn't long before she knew she wanted to make this her career.

In 2013 she founded her first business - The Tiny Turner - which encompassed her demonstrating repertoire and saw her setting up an online retail store selling project kits and supplies to woodturners. This business has grown in success over the years and led to her forming Emma Elizabeth Ltd as she expanded into exporting her own product lines internationally.

Today, Emma wanted to not only continue being an entrepreneur but to return to her roots of making, and thus split her artistic creations away from The Tiny Turner, branding herself under her own name: Emma Cook.
